BBC News - Gordon Brown promises full body scanners at UK airports

So it takes someone trying to blow themselves up to get governments around the world to increase their technology to make the public safer? Forget the civil rights people who say it's a breach of privacy. I don't really care whether some stranger sees my xray testicles as long I know I'm not going to get blown up the next time I fly somewhere! The people scanning are going to become so desensitised by seeing all the bodies (just like doctors) that  it won't matter. There's nothing sexual about walking through a scanner. I'm not going to gyrate my balls the next time I go through. As long as it's a fast process and I don't have to strip then I'm happy. If it's not a fast process then don't be surprised if a terrorist blows themselves up in the queue!
