Review
This is a breakfast time only restaurant. There is a buffet selection on offer at around 30 usd per head but we decided to opt for the a la carte menu with items between 7 usd and 17 usd on offer. Poi is a glutinous purple paste made from pounded Taro root and is really popular in Hawaii. It was a great introduction to try out Poi in my american deep rise style pancake as it was a truly memorable experience. If a pancake was to be cooked to perfection then this was it! Another popular Hawaiian staple is the macadamia nut and it serves as the perfect compliment to the Bay Terrace Pancake. The maple syrup was simple stuff but the coconut syrup made in house was absolutely superb. Yiki had something similar to an English breakfast except most of the items were missing. Eggs in the USA come in a variety of options including sunny side up which is what Yiki had and sunny it was. The main difference with this fry up and an English breakfast was that this tasted healthy even if it was odd having the fruit on the same plate. Another item to note was the excellent POG juice which is freshly made on site from Passion fruit, Orange and Gauva. POG juice is everywhere in Hawaii but the Bay terrace is the best place to go for the best possible example of this wonderful non alcoholic cocktail
