On Monday night, I was lucky enough to be invited to an exclusive screening of Amazon Video’s newest release The Man In The High Castle.
‘What is this new show?’ I hear you ask! Well The Man In The High Castle is based in an alternate world where the Axis powers won World War II- it’s also set in America, which (in this world) is split into three areas between Japan and Germany! Based on Philip K. Dick’s 1962 book of the same name, The Man in the High Castle tells a tale of life and history as it relates to authentic and manufactured reality.
The pilot of the show is available to watch on Amazon Video now but on Monday night I got to watch the second instalment of the series. The really strong performances by the up and coming cast complemented the strength of the script. It’s hard to talk much about it without spoiling the plot and experience. What I will say is that it looks amazing, it’s well produced and I’m really looking forward to episodes 3 to 10 which are being released in one go, House of Cards style. Amazon video is free to watch if you already have a prime account. The video content is also available to download for offline viewing and works well on my Android based Asus ZD300 Zenpad tablet, iPad, iPhone (inc airplay to TV) & Roku box.
Don’t miss The Man In The High Castle on Amazon Video November 20th.
